Bs. You must never turn the screen on! Or have a wicked battery saver app.

Forgot to charge it last night. Still have over 25%. I used navigation twice yesterday. 2.5 hours of talk time. Tapatalk browsing etc.

No, aside from phone calls and web surfing, it's turned on all the time due to receiving text messages and emails all day and all night because my dirt bag employer doesn't know how to run an alert system.

Just installed the camera update on the MAXX. The major complaint was camera issues, update corrected the three problems I experienced.

I don't know if it's going to a droid from an iphone for so long, or the incredible battery life, but it is great. QI charging is wonderful, I don't have to jailbreak the phone to get it to function how I like, and the integration with google is amazing.

Battery update: It has been off the charger for 17 hours, 85% battery left, wifi on the whole time and screen has been on for 1 hour, 41 minutes.

My worry is snowmobiling season. My AT&T service was incredible, even in the BFE in the UP. Verizon's map isn't very good up there, but I've yet to experience it first hand, so I can't comment on how it works up there.
I don't think you will have any problems with your Verizon service in the UP. I tried AT&T briefly and quickly returned the phone after it wouldn't work half of the BFE places I go in the UP. I went back to Verizon and can't complain about coverage at all. They're the best IMO for off the beaten path coverage. I tried Sprint and AT&T also.

Your previous thread about making the switch from Apple had me intrigued. I have the first version I5 and hate it. I had an I4 before this for 2 years and loved it. I hate it this I5 even more since the last 2 IOS updates. This is my third I5 since the other 2 had numerous problems and I returned them. My battery will not make it past 2 pm daily without being in the red, and that's only with very minimal internet usage and periodic texts. I am leaning towards the Droid Maxx to replace this turd.

oh, and as for verizon in the UP.

I am between sault ste marie, manistique, houghton hancock, and menominee. I have yet to not be able to make a phone call. may not always have 4g or even 3g on occasion but 99% of the time I can ATLEAST make a phone call.

stayed with Verizon since the pricing wasn't enough difference to jump ship. 3 smart phones.

daughter has the S3 and the battery works great on it. she uses the hell out of it (when not in school) and it holds up well.

I just recently bought the Note 3 and love it! the battery is honestly comparable to the Razr Maxx. my cousin has the maxx and we compare battery life all the time I'm not a heavy user at all, but I typically get 2 solid days on battery with light to moderate use.

bad ass phone imo. super fast, awesome screen and don't mind the extra size.

this is one of the best cycles I've had so far.

I think that was also about 3 hours of screen time

The LG is a good phone too. I haven't had one, but reviews are good.

My Note 3 battery for the other day. I use the shit out of my phone with lots of Web browsing and gps navigation. I downloaded a couple movies as well. My screen on time was about 8 hours.
I remember my OG Evo needing to be charged every 6 hours or so with this kind of use. IPhone? FUGGETTABOUTIT!
