Billy Grahams Message to America.
Quite possibly his last public message.

It is the accepting of Christ that saves your life.
There have been and will continue to be people that take advantage of others through greed, which is sin in itself. And without repenting of that sin you will surly die in those sins.

He's a good guy, not your typical televangelist.

Billy never preached like that. He's a great man. A true example of what a Christian should be.

The Bakers on the other hand,

Just wanted to quote you so you can read what you wrote. I don't even have to make a response

Billy brought it once again. A man of conviction who lived right and kept his word and walked the talk. You'd be hard pressed to bring a single accusation against him. What a guy! A true believer.

I stand corrected on graham then. I was thinking of pat Robertson and swaggart. Robertson said he prayed and made a guys leg regrow. Not in the USA mind you, in some jungle village in Africa.

Great video, He is the way , the truth and the light. I pray for these lost souls on here often hoping they see the way before it's too late. It doesn't matter when the end time of humanity is coming as each individual has their own ending time and you never know when that time is up.

I've never really cared for Billy Graham but I think he's the real deal. There are some interesting stories about him in his younger years.

SWIDT?

Neat part about Billy is that you can YouTube his old crusades and they are spot on for today just like they were then. I love the conviction in his voice. Ever since I heard Billy preach it raised the bar for me. Now I love yelling preachers like Driscoll (have you listened to his current series on the Ten Commandments? Wow!)

Agree, not a fan of his style and some of his doctrine but give him props. Men of lesser character couldnt make it in the gospel biz as long as he has.

I heard a great sermon this morning and wanted to share, given the various reactions on this thread to someone who has just passed.

Our minister (free methodist) said he has been asked a few times after giving a funeral service "isn't it hard to give a service for someone you know is a non-believer and will be going to hell". His response "I'm not important enough to decide whether someone is going to heaven or hell, that is something only God can do. The best I can do is point people in the direction of Jesus".

Interesting. My pastor (also free methodist) says he'd rather do funerals over weddings. If anything because a funeral brings something to the table that rarely anything can. Mortality. It's the closest we can get to death with out experiencing it. He says in those times it's very easy for people to see how short our lives are here.

I think Billy did a great job! My wife and I were praying during the whole thing. Very moving. I also didn't know Lecrea's (Sp?) back ground story. It makes his music that much better. Yup, I said it, God can even make rap meaningful. .
