the late 90s f150s had a factory oil filter relocation it moved the filter up right behind the drivers side of the front bumper.

Ill have to look up the older style to see if it could work but I dont think they will be compatible with my motor. The oil filter and the lower radiator return line neck are built into the same adaptor housing. And they are right in the front of the motor.

Can you drill and tap the ports and run a filter relocation kit? I am not familiar with that setup.

http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...Model/MUSTANG/

But then i reread what you posted. You have the oil cooler setup with the coolant running through it. Like the explorers i think. I thought you could remove that and install a filter in its place. Again might be different from what i have seen.

I havent really looked at it yet. biggest problem I see is that the return line for the radiator is built into the housing I might have to make the whole set up if I cant find one.

Strangler..... Im getting to that point. I want to keep it all Ford but it is way cheaper and easier to put a chevy in.

Or I go with a older roller 351 and stroke it and get rid of the mod motor...lol

I vote 351 if you change it.
