Finished the weekend with it hot wired
I got rid of the controller and wired it up key on hot with s relay, new fan motor too because the bearing were shot in the old one

Started my such bumper tonight too
I got the winch plate drilled tonight

Michael up

I also fixed a broken taillight and taillight lense

Default Project "YJ-8 Wrambler"

Update
I installed new bearings and seals in the rear axle finally
Also finished the winch bumper finally

Took it to bundy yesterday and competed in the pit trash shoot out and was in first place for a while then got beat by another rig and an ultra 4 buggy (go figure) and after the buggy beat me by 30 seconds I figured it wasn't worth breaking my jeep to make up maybe 20 seconds
And the only carnage was the strap ripped out of the soft top and some bent tailgate latches
But still had An awesome time!

Rear springs are next on the list
My bastard spring over pack is wiped so I built a new one, just need to grab some bushings
I also have some longer shackles for the front and rear

I wanna see that supercharger on there. You can just lay it under the air filter. That would work.

Physically putting the supercharger wouldn't be hard at all
It's getting it to run right that is the expensive part
I'm contemplating just doing a motor swap instead

I vote take the hard road. Supercharged 2.5=unique like the rest of the wrambler. But I understand. Keep it up. It is looking great.

had one in my 03 envoy, really liked it till all the cam sensors started failing.
it loves rpms! it would be nice to have a motor that is happy at 6500 rpms!
chevy 5 speed from a 4 or 5 cyl colorado/canyon should work, i think its an nv3500.
i say do it!

The starter is in a different location so it's not a standard bell housing pattern
I can use a bell housing from a Colorado/canyon and a ax15 or nv3550 will bolt right up and I can use my existing 231 transfer case

Well the result of a night run at Kenny's a couple weeks ago was a junk tire from a root in the bottom of a mud hole

And a dirty jeep
So it got washed this weekend and I got the front shackles mocked up, welded and painted
Will do final installation tonight and I should have less rubbing issues and a much better stance
I also cleaned up and painted a new steering shaft that I installed as well
It steers much tighter without all the u-joint slop I had in the shaft before

Well I got the heat to work
That upgraded blower motor sure does work
I can feel it through my shoe on high and I think it might be causing some over cooling lol

We saw your Jeep there, but didn't know whose it was. It would have been good to meet you. My daughter Mira didn't have her XJ there (working hard to get it done, though). :)

Had a good day of winter wheeling over at Kenny's on Saturday
No broken parts this time
Not real impressed with the tsl radials in the snow :/

Well I didn't have to work Monday due to the storm so I dug the jeep out and did some snow wheelin

Before

After the flogging
I also made a temporary back window since the gorilla tape wasn't holding up to the -10* temps

It's a piece of plexiglass screwed in with self tapping screws and fender washers, it is not screwed into the top just clamped to it

I don't seem to have a picture of it but I got an aluminum toolbox for Christmas for in the bed of the jeep as well as a warn recovery kit
Only problem is the box is 37" wide so I've got to cut a bout an inch out of a side and have my dad weld it back together
I'm excited because now I will actually have room for spare parts, fluid, gear and tools other then just behind the seats
