Time Change, Yet Again

Come Saturday night, you can turn the clocks back an hour. Now it will be really dark in the morning.

Yay.

Of course, this isn't mandatory. People will look at you funny if you're someplace early.

Thought I had that backwards. It's the first sign of getting old. I forget what the second is...

This is why I don't mind nightshift in the winter. I think I see more daylight than the dayshift guys.

I was surprised recently when I looked at what they call 'standard' and 'daylight savings' time. If I understood correctly, we will be switching back to 'standard' time, and through the summer we are on 'daylight savings time'.

Both.

Also, this does not apply to parts of Indiana, all of Newfoundland, and Hamtramck.

One of the lesser known articles of Obamacare also states that if you do not participate in Daylight Savings Time, the IRS will fine you. Also, your clocks cannot add up to more than 9% of your pay.

what about fall back and spring forward?!

I wish it was during the weekdays. So I could actually use the extra hour of sleep on a day it matters.

Actually, it's just a jump to the right, and then a step to the left
