Do you remember what the cost was? My neighbor will be doing it, I just want to confirm his price is reasonable. He quoted $500 for 88 linear feet of house, and three downspouts.

There is more information needed. How many miters, are they seem less gutters, how tall is the house?

No miters - straight run of the front of the house, straight run of the back and front of the garage. Yes, seamless. Singlestory house, probably max of 12' above grade at the drip edge.

Is your neighbor licensed and insured or just doing it for extra money on the side?

If hes your neighbor, he shouod be able to do better. Friend of ours just did our new house which sounds exactly like what you have for 200 $ basically we paid for material, so your neighbor will be making 300 $ off you for a couple hours of work. Not like he has to drive far or anything

I think it was $850. But I have 6 down spouts and a miter. They look good and the color was spot on.

Kinda why I started this post, it seems high. When we were around his campfire last summer I swear he told me $3/foot, but wasn't sure if it was the beer talking, or me not remembering correctly. I think I will need to get another bid or two to feel good about it. Some profit is expected even though he is my neighbor and somewhat friend, but $200-$300 over material cost seems steep for what he can do in an afternoon. Thanks for your response.

I just did my barn, 100 Ln feet with 4 downspouts (eaves are 12 Ft tall), it was about $480. Like yours it seemed it was about $200 in materials. But with two people for some hours out there, plus fuel, taxes, investment in tools, I don't see any issue with them making $300 for the job.

From what you have provided me with the above information a fair price would be $350-$450 range.
