yea I agree some kind of short fender.the seat is the hard part. it has to be at least 9.5 wide in the back then tapers in.around 15" long.think the seat adds to the look so really wanna find the right one. going to have to make some new mounts if I wanna upgrade the rear shock also.

Allballs have conversion bearings, no need for machining, unless they don't have a conversion bearing, then you are back to machining

im thinking I like these for side panels.cover the side up good and classic. might have to paint them though or should they be left old looking? I have a set in plain black also.

I just talked to my buddy and he has the old z50 fenders in black or chrome. those were a wide tire so should work good.

Have not spent really any money on this.I had most of the parts or made some calls to some old bike friends. Found out I can use a banshee or earlier yfz450 rear shock.gives me 3 inches more of rear height, the 450 shock has comp and rebound adjustments also.so on the hunt for one of those.

I have a few sets of hand guards. im having issues getting the right fork setup.i have a couple upside down newer mx forks and triple clamps.but not going to be easy to get on there.the stock stem is real small and only 33mm forks. there is a bunch of old school mid 80 stuff that will bolt right up, but I want newer upside down and fat bars.. so when I get time im going to work on that tomorrow. get front done, get the banshee rear shock on. i need to figure out what side panels I like and how im going to mount the old school 1969 chrome z50 fenders.
