WANTED - 20 G slug gun - found (bought new)

I am NOT looking for an 11-87 or 500 or anything smooth bore.

Ideal would be an H&R rifled bore, savage, ithaca, etc.

I have cash or other guns to trade, including a mossberg 695 12G slug gun (whihc I will be using this season if I can't find a 20G)

I just bought an H & R ultra slugger 20 ga with a 3 in chamber for $244 @ Dunhams. I know it isnt much help but throwing it out there.

You wont find a better slug gun for that price.. I have one myself with the laminated stock. Mine is a special edition with some kind of coin in the stock. Put a good quality scope on it and you have yourself a great little tack driver...

better to have it & (not use it) than to not have it and need it.

recommend you go to dunhams per comments above unless of course your true aim (no pun intended) is to stay off government's radar

I PMed him for the model number. The 2 local dunhams can't find any sluggers for that price.

The local Gander Mountain here in Kalamazoo has a H&R 20ga slugger on the shelf right now, already has a scope rail mounted on it. I've also seen them at Cabela's, and Jay's. I got one as my first shotgun, back when it was New England Firearms, and is the only gun I've ever used for deer hunting (I think it was $135 brand new when I bought mine). The New England Firearms version does not have the heavy barrel that the new ones have, I prefer the barrel on mine.

I hope you find one, it's a great gun.

Did you see a price? GM is usually high unless on sale.

I was really hoping to find a lightly used one for less than new. I alrady have a collection of shotguns, this isn't exactly a must buy before Nov 16th type deal lol.

Migunowners.org has had a few of them for sale recently including one 20 gauge. I've also been entertaining this idea
