Put a cam in a renix 4.0 now it won't start...

Bought a 90 xj with rebuilt 4.0 that had a bad cam lob. Ran when I picked up.

Confirmed that cam was Bad. then Ripped it apart and put a new stock cam in it.

Put the motor at tdc and reinstalled distrusted.

Motor has spark and 50psi of fuel pressure.

Any ideas??

Recheck the timing. Could be 180 off.

this. TDC has 2 spots. people miss this. You need to be TDC compression stroke cyl 1 before you set the distributer.

After market timing chain set. You had to line the square up with the dot. Not the dot to dot. Who would of guessed?
