98 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. DD ready. Lots of new parts! New lower price!!!!!
I have decided to sell our 1998 Grand Cherokee.
Its a 4.0l 4x4 (NP242) Laredo, leather, loaded with just about every option.
Every thing works, and this Jeep runs and drives great! ICE COLD A/C!
154,000 miles! That's about 40k less then average for this year.
Located in south east Michigan near Dundee.
Test drives welcome!
Clean clear title in hand!
We have spent more then 4k in new parts alone in the last few months.
Here is a list of what has been done in the last 1,000 miles or so.
New stock sized tires.
New front sway bar bushings.
New brake rotors front and rear.
New brake pads front and rear.
New hatch lift shocks.
New plug wires.
New air filter.
New steering box. (Up sized box from a 98 Darango V8.)
New exhaust manifold.
New flowmaster 50 SUV muffler.
New mandrel bent pre-cat pipe with flex section.
New mandrel bent tail pipe.
New magnaflow 15º slash cut SS tip.
All pipes are 2.5" and every thing is flanged so it can be repaired if needed.
New front O2.
New rear O2.
New exhaust mounts.
New throttle body spacer.
New 4 hole fuel injectors.
New fuel pump.
New Mopar battery.
New upper and lower rad hoses.
New heater hoses.
New thermostat housing.
OEM trailer hitch. (Rust free and just painted and installed with new grade 8 hardware!)
Wired for 4-wire trailer connection. Just installed.
Gas tank skid plate. (Rust free, and just painted and installed.)
Trans cooler kit. (Just installed. Much larger then the stock one. About 2.5 times the size!)
New Kicker 6.5" two way speakers in all four doors.
Replaced several broken trim pieces.
New trans mount.
Full sized spare tire on OE aluminum rim. (Tire dos not have a lot of tread, but works fine as a spare.)
New projector head lights.
New 6,000k HID kit. (Plug and play kit. No wires where cut!)
New LED tail lights.
New rain guards.
New wiper blades front and rear.
Trans flushed and serviced.
Oil just changed.
2" BB lift.
Just got an alignment.
Door hing rebuild kit. (Drivers door hing needs to be rebuilt. Have the parts and will be fixing it as soon as I have time.)
New steering wheel cover. (The leather on the steering wheel is in poor condition. I am looking for a good used wheel. But the cover works just fine.)
Recent things that have been done.
Transfer case was rebuilt last year.
I'm sure I am forgetting something as well.
Its in great condition!
Has only one rust spot on the right rocker. Only rust on the whole thing.
Body shop said they could repair it for under $300. (Update: I ordered a replacement rocker panel, and will be dropping the Jeep off on the 10th to have it installed and painted.) Price will be updated to reflect the cost of this repair.
Here are some pics for you.
And this is the ONLY rust on this Jeep. (And its getting fixed.)
I have spent well over 6.5k total on this Jeep now not including any labor! With labor it would be well over 7.5k!!!!!!!!!!
Asking $5,850 O.B.O.
Price drop. Now asking $3,950. And I added some more new parts.
I know that seams a little high, but This Jeep is worth it!!!!!
The only reason we are selling it is the wife wants a newer one.
It also has a mount on the front of it for a tow bar to flat tow it.
I do not have the A frame, but there not that expensive.
I also have a complete spare set of seats and a full set of rotors that are 90-95% that go with it.
Also have the stock lights, both front and rear, and any thing ells I find for it gos with it as well.
Call or text for more information.
Five 1 seven-- 2 one 5-- one 7 two 5.
Thank you for looking!

I still have all the stock lights as well. They go with the Jeep.
Willing to look at trades as well.
Looking for a 02-04 Grand Cherokee Overland + cash on my end.
But will look at any thing you have.
I will be installing the Hitch and Gas tank Skid plate in a few days.
And will be dropping it off to have rust fixed on the 10th.
I will also post a sound clip of the exhaust for you in a week or so.
It sounds good, and its not to loud.
Lift can be removed if buyer would like.

We where not able to take on a car payment when we bout this one and now we can.
So she wants to get a newer GC. Probably a WJ. But might go for a WK.

This truck is reliable. We just took it on a 500+ mile trip with no problems!
Looking for a Hemi Powered Durango (06-09), Chevy Tahoe (07-08), or a Grand Cherokee limited, Hemi (06-08). (Grand cherokee must not have the telescoping steering, and must have the power peddles and tow/haul button.
All must be 4x4 and in good condition.
