Default Land Rover LR2 buzz left rear when parked?

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, but anyone have any ideas what part is behind the left rear wheel on a 2008 Land Rover LR2, it buzzes, sounds like a fan after the car is shut-off, fuel pump? I assume it stays on after shut-off to cool down, but now the noise is getting louder

'xactly!

I think we figured it out, NVLP checking for leaks? It does need a new gas cap, but I'm a "fuk I need a new gas cap for just to turn off a CEL"

Anyone need some Harman/JBL stuff so I can afford to pay for a gas cap at the dealer

The sound it puts out is incredible for the size. It hangs on a hook at the back of my garage and I can hear it just fine out in the driveway.

The only thing is I wish it had a little DC adapter. I guess I could get a plug in USB charger or something for it.

dont those have air ride, could be something to do with that maybe the compressor keeps going because it leaks. I believe those have seperate compressors for each corner, I remember someone telling me about issues they had with one of those. try a lr2 forum, id imagine theres gotta be something out there

No air ride, this is the Escape look-alike, not the Range Rover

Surprisingly, no one's asked this ?? on the LR forums I've been on I created an account and never posted on them so they now have locked me out

i would just get one from a junkyard or look at an escape cap lol. The canister purge system might think it is a gas cap, but it could actually be a few other things in the system. I wouldn't spend $30 on a gas cap even if I knew it was 100% the problem.

I ain't got time for that I'll throw the $40 at it and fuk it.........

I reversed the 0-ring on the cap about 4 months ago and it lasted for a while, so I know it needs a new cap, I didn't realize it was the cause of the pump to run after the car was shut-off

It's actually been a fairly reliable vehicle, but the mileage is now approaching the "oh shit, what's next?" range 2008 with 60K on it.
