Default onboard computer adjustment?????

asked dealership if they could reset my 2010 dodge caravan computer to remind me about oil change at 5500 miles instead of current 3000 miles. guy said "can't be done" and i am thinking BS as owners manual sez 6000 miles and vehicles are nothing but rolling computers nowadays.

you comments?

If you hold down the trip rest button for 13 seconds, honk the horn 10 times, and then roll the windows up and down...

Someone will laugh at you.

Can't be reset to users liking. Light only comes on when prompted by computed data, not mileage. Factors playing into oil change indicator are engine run time, load, temperatures, and drive cycle.
