I wouldn't let them rebuild a lawn mower engine after the pos engine a buddy got for his boat from them. they will not stand by the warranty,

had a external head gasket leaking in under a hour of run time, they wouldn't cover it and told him to get bent

I bought a engine from them once. Never again. It was a SBC 400 for a pickup that was a daily driver. Took 5 weeks before I actually got the motor after giving them money down and I could actually live with that as I did have another one to drive. Within a week of getting the truck back broke a rocker stud. Than spent the next two weeks dealing with them on what they were going to pay. I had a local garage doing the work and that was a good thing. I am pretty sure they never would have paid any thing if I had done the install myself. They did finally pay a small part of the fix. After that the motor did run fine but it was just not worth the trouble. Excuse after excuse about why it was my fault and not theres.

I put one of their "rebuilt" engines in, 0 oil pressure from the start. What a POS.

Looking at prices, they aren't that much cheaper than ATK which I have sold without issues, and have a great warranty they seem to stand behind.

I've not had a single problem with accurate engines. I've used them 3 times.

not for much longer, looking for something else. i've sold 3-4 engines to commercial customers and haven't had any issues with them at all.

Accurate hasn't had a good reputation for years. Most of their bad press was earned.

We used them once and will never again. We normally do most our rebuilds in-house but we had them do a Subaru motor per cust. request and it came apart in less than 1k miles. The second one leaked oil non-stop from everywhere and it was such a pita to work with them we fixed it ourselves to take care of our cust.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! I would buy a motor from a homeless man before them.
