This the episode sucked for a season opener.

And about the roof how did one hole way away from the helicopter turn into it raining zombies from random spots

Was disappointed but at least it's back on

It was an OK episode, the way I see it (and how the talking dead explained it) is that they had to set up the story line so that all hell can break loose next episode

Last shop I worked at has 'random holes' open up from water seepage. Flat roof are pretty bad for this if they are not maintained.

That said- the holes would be much smaller than they were showing as many were larger than joist spacing....

Small holes I get, maybe even one big one. But for a dozen of them to randomly open up at the same time is just stupid. Would've made a lot more sense for one hole to open up and a waterfall of zombies to follow.

One large hole is less likely, as the trusses would have to give way. Maybe one long narrow hole, but 3 foot diameter holes would not happen.

At least they no longer have 50 round shotguns.

You guys are applying logic to a tv show about zombies...

:)

I think it looks like it's going to be a pretty awesome season.

Not impressed so far. I am thinking that everyone is going to start turning into zombies here soon. In season 1 the doctor guy said they were all infected, maybe you dont have to be dead to turn anymore.....

Things that actually exist in the physical world should behave the way they are supposed to.

One of my Facebook friends said Daryl's bow is a new 2014 model. I forgot the brand he said but that's a great, post zombie, find!

Agreed. If you want believable watch Maury. To apply that level of critique would render the entire show impossible. Rotting muscles(which do exist in the real world) can't receive the electrical impulses to contract, therefore "walking dead" zombies are impossible. That said, I love this show, and it seems like they are ramping the pace back up after a slow last season.

So the kid that died at the end, anyone notice he had the same eyes as one of the fence walkers, shook hands with Daryl and contaminated the water tank he was messing with when he fired up the shower.

Edit: not Glen it was Daryl.

Yes I noticed those too. Well... I didn't notice he shook Glen's hand, but I noticed the rest.

I noticed there seemed to be a lot of concentration on water in this episode. Do you think that was a foreshadowing that the water is bad and the prison is no longer a viable location?

I kinda hope so. I think the show would be more interesting if they were on the move.
