Default Glock 36

Anyone have any first hand experience with one? My XDs needs to go back to Springfield and i need something to fill in as a every day carry.

My requirments:

.45
Concealable
no mechanical safety
Moderately priced (5-600)

I have not made it to the store to fondle one yet but i have always liked other Glocks i have held / shot so i don't see why this one would be any different. Any input would be great either on the 36 or another option i should be looking at.

As far as Glocks go, they don't have the stellar reputation that the rest of the line does, but I do believe they have had the kinks worked out for several years now.

My biggest complaint is the giant magazine baseplate, seems like it was an afterthought to me...

Own one and loved it. The 30s is my next Glock to buy.

The 30s is a consideration also....i am not super concerned with it being really small since we are headed into winter and come summer i will still have my XDs.....i need to get to the store and check them both out.

I was reading that....complaints seemed to revolve around the recoil spring on early models...but it sounded like they had that sorted out.

Also the pierce mag extensions are a must it makes the baseplate match the grip.
