Need pics of the dead deer or I will assume you just tipped it over, happy you are ok, my drive into work is only 8 miles, but it is deer infested, I'm just waiting for the day one runs out in front of me

I have it from a good source, he killed it and he is lucky to be alive.

I gave the emt my phone to get pics of the bike and the deer (because they wouldn't let me outta the ambulance to get pcs myself)... he came back in 3min later claiming too much traffic and didn't wanna get hit trying to take a pic......
Having said that, would the deer fur/entrail from my coat be proof ?

Hope you're still doing well and no major internal bleeding, etc.

You should mount that bitch. You could tell your great grandchildren the story years from now.

Damn dude..... I am scared to death of deer on my bike. I can't believe you survived and on top of that your bike doesn't look bad considering what happened. Kudos on walking away from that one!!

thanks Chad....actually thanks to all here for the kind words and thoughts.
I wouldn't say i "walked" away from (probably more like "hobbled" away) but heck, my wife and kids aren't making my final arrangements for the big dirt nap....fortunate indeed

thanks again all

Glad you're ok! I hit one 2 years ago going 60. All I remembered was Deer......flop rolling for what felt like 10 min.....side of the road. Still haven't completely remembered how I got to the road. .

Good luck healing up, I remember the first few nights being the worse. Of course, I bruised/broke a couple ribs when I met the pavement.

Glad you're okay. That must have been a crazy experience. Did you see it before you hit it, or did it happen so fast you didn't even know what happened?

Going to get it mounted?
You shouldn't have jumped in front of his bike, now you make jokes

Kidding aside, glad your OK. I almost nailed one on my bike a couple years ago. It scared the shit out of me.

Powered by faith over here put my bike down at 65mph on I23 about 5 years ago. Don't let it stop you from getting back on one. Get well!

Sorry to hear you're hurting today, but, I'm glad you're alive to say you do.
As far as not being able to eat hospital food goes... NO ONE can eat that garbage!
Maybe someone could bring you some taco bell... that would fill your belly and solve your pooping problem

I hope you're feeling better soon.

+ Insult to injury.
That's enough to fuel a revenge killing!
If you're not a hunter already, you should consider becoming one now.

Holy balls! Glad to hear that you are making a recovery. I know one day I will end up in your position as I love riding and living in heavily deer populated areas.
