A lot of the more common centerfire calibers are starting to fill the shelves again but .22LR is, for the most part, still a unicorn.

Your best bet is to order online.

$200 for a pack of 500(!)...you've got to be pretty desperate to want to shoot them, there's really no cost advantage IMO anymore over the larger centerfire ammo. You can buy 250 .40 from the same site right now for $100...

Just bought a box of 555 for around $20 Canadian... Is that a good price?

Can you bring ammo over the border? I might have to make a trip and buy about 10000 rounds...

That's because generally it's cheap to play with, so guys clean out the stores as soon as it hits the shelves. The ammo makers can't keep up even running 3 shifts.

Just talked to an employee at Canadian Tire, and he said he has American customers that buy tons of 22lr all the time. He is not sure wether it is legal for them to take back, but it is legal for them to buy it over here...

They had a box of 1000 for $50, can't remember brand...

I'd make a call to us customs. It would suck to get branded by them...

Just found some bulk HP 0.06/rd best I've found so far.

Got 2500.
Edit: just got notification the stock I ordered ran out while in was ordering.
Damnit.

Should've ordered more but, wallets a little thin, and I still need to feed .223 and 762
