Default Need a 14bsf locker!!!!!!

Edit, found axle. Want a Detroit or something to get it locked. Anybody have one?

Looking for a 14 bolt semi float chevy rear. One of the newer 6 lug ones.

I would really like an open carrier with 3.73s.

Hoping to not spend a ton or travel far from west Michigan (muskegon area) But all depends on what you have. Thanks.

Really hoping to find somebody in muskegon. As I don't have a rig to pick it up in and will need a friends truck.

But thanks. If all else fails I'll go on a drive

Never dealt with them. I could give that a shot. You have to go in and take them out of vehicles there? Or do they have them pulled already?

What kinda shape is it in? Mileage/use on it?

Any pics?

My buddy has one he was gonna give me with 3.73s, but it's been under a plow truck forever and I would prolly need to go through everything....

Btt!

Sbc yj had a 8 lug unfortunately.

6 lug anybody? Or even some parts etc that would help me if I find one in bad shape... Lockers, instal kits, idk.

I have ruffstuffs 14 swap kit already.

Dunes open in under a month! I need my rig put back together, don't make me fix the ten bolt! Lol

I just picked up one I would be willing to part with, 8 lug with 4.10. It is open carrier though

All you need to switch them to 6 lug is 6 lug shafts. 33 spline I believe.

Or I guess if it comes down to it, does somebody have a set of ten bolt spiders "NEW" or in very good condition. I don't wanna put used ones in. My 408 already shredded the old ones .

I just need to get this thing mobile and decently dependable for summer.

I would get new spiders and weld them. Putting large amounts of power to one side of the spiders (one spinning tire that catches) will destroy them again. Welding puts power to both sides no matter what. Then find a 14 bolt FF and a 8 lug 10 bolt front or D60 to build while time and money allows.

Wouldn't 8 lug be nice? But I'm too damn stubborn and I like my collection of 6 lug 15" wheels.

Nothing looks better to my eyes than this. And I won't budge on the subject so it's not worth trying. People have been pushing 8 lugs on me for years lol.

I wasn't pushing anything on you, just a small amount of advice. Run all the 6 lug shit you want just have a pile of spare parts on hand and don't bitch about fixing it. K5's are too heavy for half ton axles and big motors and that is a fact. I've spent the money and know what works and what doesn't.

Yah I know the trade offs. I don't beleive that a ten bolt front can't take plenty abuse though. This rig has been running a ten bolt front for 9 years being jumped like this.

I just feel a 14sf for the rear will be more than enough for silver lake and summer dding 33" tires.

I don't do mud or trails with it. And that allows me to keep the wheels and tires I like.
