He wants people pissed off at the Republicans for shutting down the government.

I don't agree with it from either an ethical or a strategic standpoint.

Barry would love martial law, then he could have an excuse to imprison or kill large numbers of his detractors.

This would be a good time for vocal militias to put up or shut up and take these areas back.

Refuse to budge an inch when the GOP repeatedly comes to him with plans to avoid a shutdown, them blame them when he shuts the Fed down. And the sheeple gobble it up while the state run media spoon feeds them the Obama lies.

There was a simple way to avoid the shutdown... Pass a simple spending bill without adding any BS to it.

Or have the president propose a budget.

The Republicans did not shut down the government. It is by default that if an agreement was not met, then by oct 1st they shut down non essential areas.
It does amaze me how the media loves to inform the public that it is the fault of the Republicans. When in fact it is the president and the that are at fault and making it as difficult on the people as possible.

I do hope that the people wake up and start removing the dead weight next year and in 2016 do what is good for the people.

The reason an agreement was not reached was because the insisted in trying to extort changes to other law before passing a routine spending bill. Since there's a law that no money can be spent that has not been authorized by congress the President has no choice but to shut down anything non-essential that has not specifically been funded.

No. I want them to honor checks already written, commitments already made, and not use routine spending bills to extort changes to laws already passed.

You know as well as the rest of us that the law was passed under thuggery, slight of hand, and just plain Political stink. Why do you think the ultra Conservatives gained so much power in the last election. the Congressman are doing what the constituents asked them to do, before their election. (just like dem side)

What they are doing is under the guide lines, no different than how the law was passed in the first place.

Sometimes you have to remove manuer stain with Vinegar

What is your problem with Republicans trying to make changes (that will benefit all of us) to a disastrous bill? You don't seem to have nearly the same problem with the President and his Administration doing the same with existing laws to suit their agenda. Immigration enforcement, Obamacare exemptions to his buddies, etc.

I dont like that it has a serious liberal bias but the facts are there.

A quick civics lesson on the Constitution and our three branches of the federal government.
The constitution sets forth and enumerates the duties of the three branches of government.

The house holds the purse strings and pays for laws created by the Senate and approved by the Executive. They are given the power to defund anything approved by a previous congress. This was intended as a way to provide for a balanced budget.

The executive branch determines constitutionality and either approves or rejects a law. The executive branch may not create a law.

The Senate creates laws. Senators were originally chosen by state legislatures. This was done to prevent senators from creating laws adverse to their states. The state legislatures could remove a senator.

So, to clarify, the only branch of government that is currently working within their constitutional duties is the house of representatives. Anyone who says the ACA is the law of the land is ignorant of the Constitution and needs to be reminded.
