blah, i've kind of plateaued, need more hours in the day, haven't been able to get a good work out in the last two weeks and i think thats hurting me

This is the mode I am in now too. When I'm busy and stressed I don't eat. When am I not busy and stressed? It has made continuing to lose weight even when I don't sleep, don't work out, and don't try to watch calories easy.
Before I changed my eating habits stress made me gain weight.

I'm gonna jump in on this program. I used to be in phenominal shape in my late teens and early 20s and have been on a roller coaster ever since(now 29). I'll slowly get fat, go back to the gym for 6 months and get in shape again, then stop and slowly get fat again. I'm currently at the fat stage. At my peak physical shape I was 190, I'm currently 220-225 depending on the day. With my frame I would like to get to 200 and maintain it(eat decent and continue working out). I have terrible self control when it comes to eating and I drink too much beer, so I don't expect any crazy rapid results, but I do know I can do it.
I started going back to the gym 2 months ago but have not gone often enough or on a regular enough schedule. Too much crap to do and too little time in the day. I know I'll still struggle to go regularly, but I'm gonna try and force myself to go 3-4 times a week. Once I'm in a routine I'll start eating better and drinking less because I won't wanna cancel out the hard work. It'll be mostly weight training so not quite as effective for weight loss as cardio, but it'll still do the job.

I've been hanging around the 240 mark for a better part of 4 months. The weight loss has stopped. However, the inches in the belt keep dropping. I am stronger and faster than I was 20 years ago.

I'm starting to see muscle tone again, and at 46 years of age, I thought that was gone forever.

Drank a lot of beer this weekend and didnt eat that great but i didnt gain any. Havent lost any either

Its so hard to get to the gym with work and school, and I really messed up my foot again so I doubt i will be able to workout this week Maybe I can just do upper body/abs this week.

Am 5 pounds away from my current goal.
Hopefully hit that in the next couple weeks, then i'm setting a new goal 20# farther away. 160# off so far. about 1.5" away from the pant size I was in at 18

My new favorite is meeting / working with someone i haven't in awhile and having them walk right by me, or look at me and not even realize it's me.

2# away work schedule has had no time for exercise which i think has screwed me (up at 4am, home about 9pm blah).

People who haven't seen me in the last 6 month's doesn't recognize me, but everyone who is trying to lose weight ask's me my secret.
Was no secret, and when i tell them what i've done I get, "it's too hard" or "I can never do that" etc. I'm trying to motivate others.



Bought a shirt and pants last weekend, This time last year I was in XXXL or XXXXL, just bought Large.
Never EVER thought i would be this small, it's awesometastic.

I got down to 210, now I'm up to 230-235 and look much better. Arms, chest, back, and shoulders have gotten bigger to the point I had to go up a dress shirt size. Pants and everything else is still fitting the same, and I'm lifting way more at the gym than before. Everyone also thinks I've lost more weight.

Don't always focus on just the number on the scale!
