Default Interesting film

I just finished a film called
Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism . It was an interesting piece that made me think about somethings that I knew and some that I have never caught. If you watch it, I'm talking about the "some say" line.

Anyway if you've got some time, check it out.

it's actually on YouTube right now.

LOL at all the cuts during interviews. Did Micheal Moore produce this film?

Am I the only one that sees the irony in this?

And Fox News is a POS.

Ever notice that good journalists NEVER have cuts in an interview?

I saw how chopped up it was, and quit watching it

and some people know how to spell "retarded". Well, I suppose they could show entire interviews for the film, but then it would be WAAY longer. Do you have 10 hours to devote to watching a film? The best part is the commentary from past Fox News employees.

If you don't think that Fox news is just another mouthpiece for the , then...i don't even know what to say.

actually BMF , i have a feeling that you don't actually have a feeling on the subject, you just want to make jabs at me. ignore list.

I don't get it. You fully know that nobody on here shares any political views with you except for a couple, so why do you continue to badger this site with liberalism?

you should prolly start going here:
http://www.medialens.org/board/
instead of just purposely causing people to get mad around here.

I don't get why posting things on a political forum about politics makes people get mad. If they don't want to debate stuff in here, why are they looking at it? Yes, most of the stuff I post is pretty liberal, because you guys are all staunch conservatives. How would I rile anybody up if I posted a bunch of stuff you agreed with?

And that piece wasn't biased?

So Fox is a "conservitive news organization" while the rest are liberal, big deal.
You're a fool if you think that any commercial news agency is actually unbiased. Especially in an election year, which was when that piece is from.

Read the rest of the quote. You're calling out a person because of spelling. If you are going to get into an intellectual jousting match, bring some ammo.

what worries me is, people watch the stuff and take it as gospel...like the way the media was spinning that john kerry comment as bashing the troops...everybody took it out of context, you don't know how many people i've had to explain what really happened with that.

It was only taken out of context after he apologized. He goofed up and came back with teh most lame assed, political rhetoric-filled apology I've evar heard.

There would have been no need to apologize had networks (like Fox News) had not spun it the way they did. had they shown the previous 3 statements he made, it was clear he was speaking about President Bush...not the troops...but nooooooooooooo the fox spin machine was hard at work on that comment.

AS is just about every other news outlet with the Bush-isms and the flubs he makes. If Dubya made the same slip, he would've gotten the same treatment from everybody else.

It happens on both sides; you're just wasting time getting riled up about it.
