Not yet. I'll post when I get my electric bill. I'm averaging about 4-5 kwh per day to charge it so even at max worst case scenario rates I'm less than an dollar per day. Should be somewhere about 20-25$ increase in electric bill but time will tell. I still need to get the level 2 installed once I get around to it which will help.

4-5 kwh per day is not bad at all. Average US household usage is 31 kwh per day so that works out to about a 16% increase.

The pressurized gas tank to keep the fuel fresh is weird.

I seriously lean something new about this car every week. Oh, and it can power my house if I loose power and don't have a generator. (some additional equipment required).

Better highway trip. Grand Rapids to bay city. 196-96-69-75-81 so mostly 75 mph with some country 60 mph at the end. Much happier than the KY trip, but no bike rack this time. This was all gas no electric miles mixed in.

keep us updated. These lease deals are interesting. Did you install the 240v hookup yet?

We use to have a 2004 A6. After the costs of gas, insurance, maintenance, and repairs we are saving ~$100-200 a month with a 2013 Volt we leased from new... and our electric bill went down!?

The volt is cheaper to insure?

Not really

There are DC charging stations out there that can charge it quickly, but I hear its not recommended very often. I've also never seen one in this area.

How many miles have you been able to sneak out of a single charge so far? The lease deals are retarded enough that I may turn out focus in on one

Everything in post 56 is accurate, although I will add I have only truly drained the battery two or three times. The first was the 45.9 mile range I posted a while back. The others were on road trips where I didn't remember to record the range because I split battery use at the start and end of the trip. Also I've gotten almost 40MPG highway without the bike rack.

A lady my wife works with drives from Allendale to Cascade and has gotten 51 miles on a single charge. It all depends on the type of driving, it loves the city and Im usually projected to be at 48-50 per charge, but highway at 75 mph will drop my range to about 35-38 miles.

Keep in mind winter it will drop as everything in the car is powered via the high voltage battery..... even heat and A/C.

Total days driving. Complete battery drain with driving like a jackass and some highway.

Complete return trip

I haven't posted any updates during the week because it's all been on the battery unless I go out of town.

If my wife wasn't such a car slob, I'd be leasing one right now. The things she does to.a car would make you scream.

Does the 14 come with run flats? I wish the 13's did, but I heard they changed that. Not sure if it was 14 or 15 though.

I've got to quite telling people how awesome this car is. Before I know it, I won't be able to plug in at the movie theatre anymore because all of the plugs will be in use.
