Turned out great Jim. As others said, gonna take a while to get used to the color after all these years. LOL See you at Loonie.

After 3 days of long runs at GG, I am pleased to say that I had no problems. I had a rattle that turned out to be a loose track bar bolt, which was not touched during the rebuild and one tail light is not working, brakes or marker so I suspect it's the bulb or ground. I was too busy enjoying the weekend to mess with it.

Bottom line, this phase is complete with great success.

He beat on the thing. Fears of him taking it easy because of worrying about scratches were unfounded.

Then I found myself looking for Jim only to realize the burgundy jeep next to me was his. :banghead:

Great work Jim and everyone involved.

That's a huge amount of work with what sounds like very minimal issues.

Good quality paint. Very few scratches.
Actually, I was amazed at how few scratches I had from the brush we pushed through. I didn't take any closeup pics. Sarrrrry.

Are you implying the 20 mile tunnel of pine and spruce wasn't "brushy" enough for you? I've seen baby rabbits have trouble getting through that shit!

At times you could not see the rig 10' in front of you. And a big thanks to all that helped with fixing dads gas tank.

I was meaning "brush" was a bit of an understatement.

I think you gave it a pretty good description.

That's because I was putting Tab's bumper to the test mowing down the trees. There were times when Shawn was less than that ahead of me and it was like he was gone.

I didn't notice any changes, did you do something to the jeep Jim? This thread has to set the record for the biggest and oldest build thread.
