**SPF** Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 FFP MRAD in Badger Ordnance USMC 30MM Rings

Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 First Focal Plane MIL/MIL

Looking to finish my OIF Issued Rifle build and need an ACOG TA-31 with red chevron reticle to finish it.

That is really the only trade I am looking for but I might be willing to trade it for a S&W 686+ or maybe a .44 Mag 4" or smaller barrel. Open to offers.

Scope is LNIB and was mounted on a 6.5CM for exactly 30 rounds. It comes with Badger Ordnance USMC 30mm rings with the 1" reducers in case you want to use the rings on a lesser scope.

You can grab the scope for $800+shipping and what not these days but the rings are still ~$230+shipping everywhere else.

$850 is as low as I'm going on this with the rings. That's cheap as shit for what you're getting.

Also open to a nice, newer handheld GPS with a color display and good maps of Michigan as a partial trade. Preferably Garmin.

I liked it a lot but had no reason to keep it. I don't have access to ELR ranges like I used to back in Texas.

As for 6.5CM vs 6.5 Grendel (Found this excellent explanation elsewhere):

Two completely different classes of cartridges. Think the difference between .223/5.56 and .308/7.62 NATO. The 6.5 Grendel is based on the Russian military 7.62x39 case; the 6.5 Creedmoor is based on the .308 Winchester case (roughly).

The 6.5G is designed for use in the AR15 class of weapons; the 6.5C is too big for the AR15, and only fits in AR10 class weapons.

As such, the Creedmoor has more powder to shoot the same bullets faster than the Grendel.

There are a lot more specifics and good information in this AR15.com thread:

huh, intresting. main reason I asked is one of the guys I hunt with has a 6.5G that he uses for deer hunting . we were picking off crows at 3-450 yds on a slow day.

Not going any lower on this. That's a damn good price for what you're getting.
