Default 1 ton TRE reamer

Does anybody have a 1.5" per foot taper reamer like is used for 1 ton TREs? I'm getting ready to order steering parts and if I go TREs I'm gonna need to ream out my pitman arm. In the Howell area if you want to loan it for a couple bucks or some beer that'd work, or I'd be willing to buy something for a reasonable price. Haven't found em for less than $100 so far.

I like the price but nowhere lists the actual taper. You sure it's the correct angle?

Google it. I has one in my garage, let you know if it works this weekend. I can measure it in our optical comparator tomorrow if you want to be absolutely sure.

If you want to measure and test it I certainly won't argue, I just wanted to be safe. I still need to figure out which steering configuration I'm going with first.

I'll do that tomorrow, it'll only take a couple minutes.

1.5" per foot / 7.15 Degrees

1.5/2/12= .0625" per inch
I measured it at
.06565" in 1" single side single flute

So either it's the wrong taper or it's the right taper and my measurement error/grind error is .003" off over 1".

Based on how beat up the edges I was trying to measure were, I'm going to run it

I ordered Irwin 11221 but was shipped Hanson 1/2-1 U.S.A. R-220 FWIW

Not bad. I imagine that small of a difference will still work. Torque it down and there'll be enough material displacement to eliminate slop.....or at least that's what I'm telling myself cuz I don't wanna spend $80-100 on a reamer
