I would seal it up
I just can't see all the dirt running out of it
I would think there would always be some left
Or just add a hole to stick the hose in haha

I agree, if there are holes it will take as long to clean the axle as the rest of the rig after a muddy day in the trails. Even if I open it up like a Artec truss it will still be a pain to clean all the dirt out.

My artec trusss (front and rear) clean out pretty well with a garden hose. No more or less efforct then normal cleaning after getting in mud .

Thats good to know, If I open it up I would be doing it very similiar to the artec design. So Im happy to hear it cleans up well.

I sealed up the one on my B2 build, lots of welding, I wish I would have cut notches in the bottom for drains.

If i seal it up I will stitch weld it and caulk the welds and seems then paint over everything.

Do you regrete welding it up becasue of time or because of issues with having it sealed?

Hancho is a 2 wheeler now, he will never own anything 4x4 again, and I wont be sellign this. it might take me a while to build but with working 65+ hours a week and two young kids at home thats just the way it is. i dont have the time I used to to build a rig quickly. And Im OK with that, it will be fun when its done.

This mod motor and back seat sure make this a tough build!!!!

I need tires so I can see where the rear shocks can get mounted. still trying to make trailing arms work but not sure if I have enough room for clearance.

Anyone know where I cna find a oil filter relocation kit for this 4.6? If I leave the filter where its at in order to get the up travel I want I will be sitting about 120" WB

If I can move the oil filter I should be able to get in the 117" area still a little off of the 115" I wanted but I dont think that should be a big deal.
