Exclamation NEW PRICE $975 1942 ford tractor SOLD

Tractor needs paint and a gasket on the axle. Also have a 5' back blade. looking for, NOW,$1000. Call me at 248-821-0032, I can send you pics.

Okay was at Skips tractor and after talking with him and rechecking the tractor, I do believe the gasket is good on the axle and a small seal is leaking on the side of the housing.

04/10/14, UPDATE. Parked the tractor after the first snowfall last year. I got a plow for my Jeep. I put gas in it, set the battery in and it fired up great! Drove it out front and put a sign on it.

OK, somebody must need a little project, I don't want to take it to the scrapyard. I know I can almost get that much for it from the scrap guys.

Orion, it doesn't run at this time. Had it running to clear my drive way just before the last big snowfall. It doesn't burn any oil that I can see or smell. Front tires are like new, rears are of two types but look to have a-lot of tread. They are too good of condition to remove one so you could match them. Like I said in the last two PM's. The tractor I feel, could use a break job or an adjustment and return springs, a rebuild of the governor or an adjustment, a good tune-up, a fine adjustment to the carb, and paint. I can send pics to a phone if you call me at 248-821-0032.

Swampjeep, I don't know what the weight of it is, I was at the scrapyard yesterday and asked them what they pay for the Ford 2n,9n,8n, tractors turned in for scrap, He told me a price minus the trip. Yes it wasn't $975. But it is close enough for me to pull off some quick sale items and scrap it soon if it doesn't sell.

I just hate to see these cool tractors go to the scrap pile when all they need is some easy work if someone was able to do it.
