Default St Helen GPS info

I am planning on heading up to the St Helen & West Branch area in a few weeks to run some 2 tracks and play in the motorsports area. I have been out there many times but usually with a group with others leading so I really don't know my way around. Does anyone have any GPS coordinates of the area to help me get around?

DNR offers FREE gps mapping and they offer it in a GPX formate so it can be used on any GPS device. As far as I remember VVmapping is only good with Garmin devices. I got VVmappings downloads and have not been able to find a way to convert them to use on my GPS, so it was kind of a waste.

Have you tried Back country Navigator for your smart phone? I did a quik search and a map came up for that area.

It looks like that is a droid app. I have looked for a decent iPhone app but I'm not sure what's worth buying yet.

I would just drive up there and drive around the woods. Most of the area it is obvious what is legal and what is not. It's St. Helen, I have NEVER used a GPS there.

The ONLY reason I wish I had some sort of iDevice.

This but with a GPS you can mark the good spots to visit later.
