Good eye. Yes- that needs to be updated as part of this little trouble-shooting exercise.

Thanks for the tip on the dipsticks.

Yes- I knew that about Pro Systems. That's part of the reason I held-out until I could get a good deal on one. This one was built in '09 and has about 6 months of use on and off on it. It actually cleaned right up and runs great.

John- the 1050 was always part of the plan. I knew there was no way that little 750 could feed this thing....

OK- it's been another stint with more upgrades on the way. New cam (full roller this time!!!), lifters, and springs got ordered up today and there's a shiny new Victor intake on the way as well.
Some more port work will be required to match the heads up to the monster intake runners so hopefully things will be buttoned-up in time to run the new and improved monster on the dyno around the Christmas break. Pics and specs will be taken and posted as things arrive and progress.

Also, hoops for the cage are already bent up and the old bumpers have been sold off. New light-weight, small diameter tube bumpers will now be protecting the front and rear of this beast. (I had to do something to start lightening it up!)

Yes I'm planning on keeping it for at least the next year. I'll re-evaluate after that.

I'm really hoping to see 725-750 at the flywheel after these upgrades and some more tuning. Dyno numbers will tell all though. I hope I'm not disappointed...

Update:
New parts are in!
Victor intake

New MSD trigger

New cam and lifters

New springs

And the new carb on the upper intake stack. I think I need to start worrying about hood clearance now.

Unfortunately this project is on hold for a little shop upgrade

New shelves will also be installed on at least 2 walls this week to open up some more floor space. The kid's Eclipse project needs to get shoe-horned in here as well in the next couple weeks.
