I've never heard of them either but i'm also not a collector. Thought maybe someone could use the info. Lots of recalls of handguns these days.

All mine are 'experienced' handguns. I doubt there's going to be a recall on any of them.

XDs, Shield, and this no-namer. Am I missing some or does that constitute "lots"?

How many recalls in the last few years? Been an 'unusual' amount lately.

*Tinfoil hat alert*

Maybe they are getting everyone to turn in their guns via recall.....never to be seen again.....

Recoil magazine did a feature on the Caracal 9mm a few issues back. Made in Dubai I think, popular in the Middle East. I would say the recalls are more from manufacturers pushing shit through as fast as possible to satisfy demand.

When was the last large recall you heard of? In the last year there have been several. In addition to the ones you list there was the Walther one, the Ruger one and a couple others in the last year or so.

These pistols were a pretty big deal when they first came out. JJ Racaza stopped shooting open to go shoot Production for Caracal.

They were designed by a former Glock/Steyr engineer, and had some cool features.

I'm disappointed to hear about this.

Explain how you can tell a cheaply made gun by looking at a factory photo?
