If you're looking for a carry, I'd second the Shield option. I have a 9 that you're welcome to try. With the slightly thinner grip it's WAY more comfortable than all my Glocks.

I got a 3.5" barrel 1911 that I had planned on using as a carry gun and never really liked it. Don't get me wrong, it shoots great, and I love to shoot it, but it's just so damn heavy.

After finding out what's available, I went with this one. For the offset difference, they are including tritium sights and 2 extra magazines.

I'm sad. I was hoping to hear you scored a 1911 variant.

I'm not in the position to shell out any extra cash.

Not a bad choice. A little on the heavy side for me to carry daily. But I'm a wuss. I believe you will like shooting it.

I also may be interested in some of your 38sp ammo depending on price.

I'll take inventory and post it up in a few days.
I would also be interested in trade for 40 cal.

Nice choice!
Lot's of goodies here for your new gun.
I have a full size M&P 40 that's sporting most of these bells & whistles.
Worth every penny.
Enjoy!

I have quite a bit of .40 ammo that I'd be willing to trade for some of your .38. If your interested, you can shoot me a pm.
