Default HDTV ruined my tv viewing experience

Yep that's right I official HATE hdtv. I had a 60" 1080p dlp which I loved, it was awesome, great picture. Anywho as tvs go nothing lasts forever so I ended up buying a lg plasma 1080p in 60". This tv is so clear and the picture is so sharp that everything looks fake, I can't stand it. It's awesome for sports, but movies and TV show bring the suck. No longer do you get that high end cinama feel, but more like filmed with a home movie camera see every imperfection on the set, the actors faces, ect. Graphics no longer look real, but feel they are fake. I never thought I'd say a TV picture is too clear, but these new gen hdtv's can blow me. And now I here they are introducing ultra hdtv's, fuck that!

My new tv makes every movie seem very low budget.

Yes, you'll see that video effect on many of them, especially with the higher refresh rates.

If it has that smooth video action setting, turn it off. Otherwise, it makes all the movement in tv shows look like its computer generated. Other than that picture quality is hard to hate.

Because you have acquired vast experience on modern electronics from your position as a help desk operator for warranty claims, I mean an engineer position you currently hold...go take something apart and tell us how you are going to make it better only to store in boxes Andy
