Default Homemade rifle target

Built this tonight from scrap I had laying around.
Bottom plates are 5" top plates are 3" and both spin on pole.

These are a lot of fun. I can not tell how thick of plate steel you have here. But be aware if it is 1/4" or less, a high velocity rifle will go right through your steel plates and wreck the shit out of it.

If you are working with soft nosed shells or target rounds like sierra match king you will be fine.

If you use ball ammo or core lokt it will knock the shit out of it quick.

I used 1/8". It will only be shot at with .22lr .22 mag or .17. I shot at it with all three before I made it. No penetration.
