Gotta love corporate activism. I expect this type of behavior out of brewers. Bunch of Birkenstock wearing hippie shits.

I have no problem boycotting micro-brewers if they are actively trying to shut down one of my hobbies.

I love beer, but in the end I love wheeling more.

As long as Keweenaw Brewing Co never makes it on that list I'll be happy. I don't see it being an issue, the owner's daughter was a member of our Offroad club, married another member of the club, and I'm pretty sure the club members could have singlehandedly kept the place in business the first few years they opened

I am very happy I can get KBC locally now. Sadly I am spoiled by that now as well. It was always a treat on my visits, and for about a month after I got back (my supply ran out)

It's not the micro brews that are shutting down our sport. It's the lack of participation by the users to do anything about it.

So I read through the article, the couple posts on Pirate, and skimmed the Clean Water Act wiki page.

How exactly does this all affect us, as wheelers?

Is the Clean Water Act something the government uses far past what it was probably intended for to close trails at their whim?

Huh? You mean founders? There are 3 Michigan brewery's on that list. Arcadia sucks any way... but founders makes me sad.

Probably, that is SOP for the gov't.

It's been available in the area for years, you just had to know where to look. Its circulation has definitely increased, and I'm fine with it. I just wish they'd start bottling it, it just isn't as good in cans. I'll be up there in a month and can't wait to have it on draft again

FWIW, Goose Island is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Are you guys going to boycott all of their beers too? Budweiser, Stella, Corona, Beck's...

(I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a few other of the micros on the list are owned by some of the bigger corporations)

I did that a while ago actually. The only AB beer I've drank is stuff other people have brought over.
