Ryan was a great guy, loved the outdoors and jeeping. I worked with him in 2010.

RIP guys!!

The passenger was a guy I used to work with as teens. I heard of the passing of our friend through FB, then heard it was a Jeep accident, only to come here an read about it.

RJ, leaves behind a 9 year old daughter.

My mom says to me this morning that she works with a gal and she just lost her son, and that he was a soon to be daddy. I asked if it was Ryan Stilwell, and she said yes.

Turns out my mom works with Lynn, his mother. Very sad. And the passenger was the big boss's (of my moms work) sons friend.

Just a little update. I heard what exactly happened, and this was second hand from his mother. He was going a little to fast down Campground Rd and lost control. His Jeep didn't quite make a complete rollover, but more so flipped on it's side. Now as far how the Jeep hit the tree, well, you know how if a little car drives under a trailer of a big rig and the hood doesn't really get touched, but the whole windshield and roof get fawked, well that's what it was like. Only it was a Jeep on it's side and it hit a tree. They, I'm assuming medical examiners, said the two occupants died instantly upon impact. They also said that there was no evidence of alcohol.

Just in case anybody wanted more detail. Very very sad. I cannot imagine what his family is going through.

Sad situation all around, but I'm glad to hear that alcohol wasn't a factor. It crossed my mind up front, but I'm happy no one on here jumped to conclusions and started bad mouthing a good man before getting all the facts.
