Rong. CB's are great on the trail, especially in areas where there is no cell service.

I have no suggestions.

There is a truck stop in GR that does / did CB tuning. I cant think of the name of it. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I know there is a shop downriver called pelco electronics. They are fantastic with cb's.

What antenna and cb are you using. Do you have an swr meter.

Your still having problems with this? Holy crap Lol I didn't think CB's were that difficult. I just put my Bearcat in the truck so hopefully it'll work just as good as it did when I put it in the Jeep.

I need a new antenna as it broke any suggestions? Its a cobra radio not sure of the model from the top of my head. No but I had someone try tuning it once and it didn't work too well

Yes lol. Me either I'm pretty sure its the ground but not positive. I can receive just can't transmit. Think its my mount but if I change it I'll have holes in my tub so want to get the current mount to ground better

Trash it and buy a new one.

How much is fixing one vs buying one? It looks like you'll have to drive a fair distance to find a shop anyway, new ones can be had almost anywhere.

Then once you have a new or repaired radio, don't key up with a busted, missing, or untuned antenna.

Haven't done anything with the jeep lately so no update. Think I'm going to hit up that place in Dearborn heights soon. I'm pretty sure the problem with my cb is the ground not the actual radio. I'm looking for a professionals input
