I've got a 2002 Kawasaki KLR 650 I'm hoping to trade or sell.

It has 46,xxx miles and counting. Runs strong. Previous owner put some parts on it (center stand, new seat, doohickey, etc..). It has a new battery this spring.

It uses a little oil, commuting to work I add a few ounces every other fill up, but lots of highway I top off at every fill up. I had it in Alaska for a week last August and used 1 quart of oil for 1300 miles. Does not blow black smoke.

I've added side boxes and a flat luggage rack to the back. Its got hand guards, a supermoto front fender, TKC80 front tire, a poweroutlet in dash, tank bag, steel foot pegs, etc...

I bought it with faded plastics, so I painted them a metallic green (daughter picked the color). I made custom mounts to hold 2 Pelican side cases and made a custom aluminum luggage rack tray for the back.

Asking $1,750 obo.......EDIT LOWERED PRICE TO $1500

Or trade for a smaller more dirt oriented 4 stroke bike thats still street legal. I owned a 250 Kawasaki Super Sherpa and that size is fine, just need more dirt qualities.

PM me or Text 586-seven one three- 677nine

Lucas

New Baltimore MI, willing to drive to meet, pm me...

Bike is on right.

Yeah, they aren't a dirt bike, nor a street bike, but they do it all. Plus they aren't very expensive and maintenance is very easy. Parts are cheap, repairs are simple.

Again a pic from Alaska trip, we saw a radar tower and decided to go the 5 or so miles up to it. Sandy, rocky, and steep climbs. I can't imagine taking a road bike up it! Had some Caribou walking around us while up there....

Great bikes for sure...one of the best dual sport adventure/touring bikes out there

No problem. It's a real fun bike, just wish it went down the highway.

Just drove it around the block....thinking some knobbies lighten it up and good to go! But rather trade it or sell and get something already built for more dirt...
