1,000 miles from home,

Sump pump failure from electrical issues = flooded basement.
Luckily i have tomorrow off and am now flying home to clean up the basement i just finished remodeling this spring

And my homeowners policy actually has a specific exemption for sump pump related flodding. Yee ha, going to have a talk with my agent on tuesday.

Someone local needs to come pillage my grape vines.
It sucks that these grapes will probably rot on the vine.

They're perfect for juice, jam and wine.
Someone just needs to dome get them before they go to waste.

Take it from someone who had a similar incident this year and had to pump 1000+ gallons out the basement.

Two pumps in the sump, at different levels, wired to different circuits. And one brand new one in the box sitting on a shelf next to it as back up now.

We didn't plant a bait patch this year.
The only things we planted (food wise) this year was green beans and tomatoes.

One of the other BBOR Joes has taken up this task.
He and his son took a large cooler full of grapes out of here yesterday.
