I hope I am asking for the right shaft. My bro is telling me I need a shaft for a 4.0 because I have a lifted 2.5. 5 speed. If ya think it will work shoot me a price.

I'm not home right now but I did measure compressed length from end to end and its right around 39''. I also looked me up online and a 4.0 auto and 2.5 4 speed are the same shaft

Just met up with sandmaster and found out that a 4.0 auto front driveshaft is too long and came to the conclusion that I need one from an AX-15 or AX-5.

Trying jeepers48's method which I should have done first my running length is 39 1/2 inches. That's center to center on the yokes. Thanks for the help guys.
