That is an existing seat bracket nut-sert in the floor. Yes, on the passenger side too. Since the other 3 tabs are tied directly to the cage, I felt comfortable with it. If I were to do anything I would consider a large plate on the underside.

Read young grasshopper, read ..................... somewhere up above I said the cage would be black. No more white anywhere.

Or maybe something like my awesome line drawerings? I just question the reliance on the tub, even if for just 1 point.

I'm not saying you're gonna die if you don't add something, but that's my $0.02.

It's tough to bend a tube with a tight enough radius to stay close enough to the hump and not raise the seat too far.

I agree it would be fine. 3 points on the cage and one on the floor is way better than all 4 on the floor

It doesn't have to be a bend.

Making a straight tube across the top of the hump? Then it would be too high for sure. You would stand a much better chance of dying from hitting your head on the now too close cage than your seat frame becoming separated from the body.

Nevermind. Best design ever. Apply for a patent.

Why not just bend a hoop over the hump that fits between the seats and weld it to the cross bars?

Either way, looks great!

Well at least it has tie in points for a harness. Still better than the lap belt/shoulder belt you hung me from.

I would think that piece could be formed with bends and cut/welded pieces. Its not like evreything has to be continuous bent tube, especially on a seat frame.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as it is really. Myself, I've have made a 90 degree right angle from the corner bolted to the body and run back into the tube behind the seat.

I have nothnig more to add, except can you change the <PRP on the front of the seat to say AARP? It should be easy, and more appropriate for the owner
