I was thinking of putting a cowl hood together. Keep the one I'm running now for winter and the other for spring/fall. I thing Lebaron vents are still in vogue.

Yea I'm interested in a v8 with a complete propane setup. As of now I have to make up my mind on a drive line.

We got the interior out and found minimal cancer, the rear pass floor will be fixed and the rest left alone.

This thing was pretty gross so this pile is going bye bye minus the front seats and header panel

I would look at cutting holes, tracing around the frame and put expanded sheet metal in its place, but that's just me. I'm gonna do that to the Chevy.

Put a few hours working under the wagoner today. Started with some surface prep on the unibody rails. Wire wheeled the undercoating and paint off and prepped the Quist Customs frame rail reinforcements. Ended up getting one side tacked in place. Next will be a set of Quist Customs front stiffeners

.

Nice.
I think that is the best first step for building an XJ up.

We shall see how far body flex actually got me on the trail vs a stiff body.

Made up some front inner wheel well stiffener plates. Just gotta put a slight roll in them and weld them up.
