Got the clutch figured out! Put it on the lift with Adam and my dad. The pilot bushing was hanging up on the input shaft like Adam thought. The clutch is a lot lighter than it used to be with the old trans and disc.

Drove around in fwd to test it worked well. Now to re-mount the battery and re-wire the winches.

Did some more work with Adam:

Mounted a usable rearview mirror with QD

Bolted the extra T-case mount up

Realigned the headers with heat and bending

mounted new military can mount (actual military and thicker steel)

Mounted battery - but need to get a different battery (Sealed and AGM) and better clamp.

Test fit my old YJ seats and debated making new mounts.

New cables made for front winch and moved the control box under the hood, Jacob dropped steel off for new seat mounts and trans cover. Will update when time allows

I put Y/J seats in my CJ/2A and like them, but wish I would have Knotched the front of rear wheel tubs.

Pretty sure that is going to be the best way to do it here too. I'd like to keep the front lip of the seat higher than the back as I like to sit back in the pocket a bit. I think it holds me in the seat better.

I also ordered The 12voltguy winch controller for the dash.

Probably close to 200 miles on this since we got it running. Everything is working like a champ minus the many holes in the headers. Jacob picked up some manifolds to install a more protected exhaust system

Damn exhaust systems have gotten expensive....

I wanted the other one that was in for work.... and I'm not talking about the POS Liberty.

I love that we made the front end electrical quick disconnect... it makes work on it so much easier.

Wired up the winch controller from 12v guy today.

Replaced the motor mounts tonight. One was shot, and I think is why the new exhaust came loose.

Prepped for some new lexan or glass for the windshield. Looking pretty soulless

I broke my front shaft in November, Adam fabbed up a new one right quick

Also started fixing the wobbly T98 shifter.

We shaved about 20-30 lbs off the top from random bolted on stuff.

I got it running smooth again, at least for now. It is running REALLY rich and I am having a hell of a time leaning it out the plugs keep fouling lately.

Need to fix the tire again - I just need new ones.

Need to put in glass

Need to fab a trans tunnel

Need to install the new seats.

Need to finish bolting on the top.

Need to take the exhaust back to the guy that did it for a repair.

Need to get at least the tach working.

Need to figure out some heat, or how to get the engine to warm up, the radiator works too well when its cold out - might just need cardboard for now.

I think that may be it for now.

Well I got to try the winches when I found out there was no shoulder to park on like I thought. I had not used the rear one yet.

You can't see it in the pic, but the rear winch is spooled out and connected to the base of the telephone pole. It was the only anchor around.

It came out real easy, I was not expecting that with the trailer attached.

Snow duty... The rear winch and rack (about 200lbs total) add a nice ballast and made plowing much easier.
