Default 2 spot trailer length

thinking Of Building A 2 Spot Bumper Pull. I Have Fit 2 Jeeps On A 24' Before, But It Was Tight To Say The Least. Any Experience? Opinions? Rule Of Thumb For Spacing?

I would not go less than 30'....that should fit most anything.....i also would build the deck flat with no dove tail and no flip over ramps. My buddy's trailer is 25'+5' dove with flip over ramps and it is a pain in the ass loading two rigs....he hauled his full bodied ex cab s10 and a full body xj and while they fit you had to park the back rig on the ramps which required the use of a second set of ramps...like i said it was a pain in the ass

My gooseneck has 28 1/2' of flat deck, it has worked out good so far. The ramps fold, but they are leaning on the back rig (I never made a support bar to lock them upright.) I think A dovetail would be good for hauling rigs, but the flat deck is nice for most everything else.

Nothing shy of 38'

Then you can haul a RZR too

I have 30' with 4' beaver tail. I can fold ramps up with a construction job box on front of deck and Jeeps touching

32' straight deck. Ramps are a bit heavy but I like not having a tail dragger. Fits 2 small vehicles with room to chain down front and rear. Will fit a long bed Chevy truck and a CJ with not much room to spare. I think 38' for 2 full size trucks would be about right.

This is the trailer I used for Drummond and I had Al's jeep all the way to the front then the yota was set with the back bumper right at the back of the trailer so the ramps were straight up. If I remember right I had just over a foot between the rigs and the yota is exactly 14' long from far lead to back bumper.

I was thinking of extending my trailer so I could do the same. I was gonna shoot for 28ft with a 2 ft dove tail

Mine is 36', easily fits two of anything. Had a ram short box and a wagoneer on it a couple years ago. Loaded right, will fit 3 Jeeps with creative strap placement. A tail dragger would be easier with overhang on front and rear available...that said, tail draggers suck.

mine is 32' and love it. just the right amount of room to load the rig and have some extra space for moving around and whatnot. I only have one rig, but the camper takes up about the same amount of space as a SWB rig would

I like having the extra room instead of everything being super close and cramped

New Plan, Not ThiKking About Building So Much Anymore.

Needs To Haul A 7k Tractor That With Loader And Brush Hog Is Around 21', Or 2 Rigs. Both Arrangements RequireRoughly The Same Spec Trailer. Open To Bumper Pull Or Goose Neck.

Yes it does.

RE a tail dragger, I've thought more than once about a 24' behind the motorhome. It would be nice to pull two rigs or the jeep & Rhino combo. Problem is I don't think the Ford V-10 would like it.
