That would require a welder, bender, tubing, knowledge I don't have and a garage built onto my apartment that I don't think will happen

I bought the D&C Extreme XJ kit and had them leave out the stuff behind the b pillar hoop. I think it was like $250 for the b-pillar forward parts, then I used my bender to add more to it and make a roll bar for in the bed. Not a bad way to start if its an option.

how was the floor mounting? I have seen there website before and liked the cage kit but didnt know if it would work for the comanche.

It mounted fine. I cut pieces of 1/8" plate out and formed them to the floor, then adjusted the tubing as necessary to get it to fit.
