Default GoPro Hero 3 black edition for $359

http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/78290

code: SUMMER10

I've been waiting for them to drop below $399... I think a couple other people were interested as well.

Nice! I have a white edition, and I love it! I have used it for dirt biking, Silver Lake, and hopefully the Jeep soon. So far I have all good things to say about it. I usually keep mine on 960 just to save battery. 960 is really good resolution. I would be scared to see it on 1080! My battery lasts longer on 960 so that is my main reason for not bumping it up in resolution.

I'm rocking a Hero 2, mainly for use as a helmet cam on my sled. I'm so sick of loading the footage to find that I had not properly aimed the camera. I ordered so I could sync with my iphone and see the footage before I record.

I sync mine up to my Droid Razr Maxx. I love the app. I use the helmet mount for when I'm on my dirt bike. The phone app is awesome! It's free, and that way you don't have to get the LCD touch screen and the remote. I have the same problem when riding my bike. One branch and POW it gets knocked back. Then you have like 20 minutes of looking at birds and the clouds with the annoying sound of 2 stroke in the background.

I got the hero 3 silver edition this spring. Used it at the dunes, and it rocked. Sound clarity is awesome, and with the wifi app for my phone I could set the angle on the helmet before starting for the day. Only negative I can say is I wish I could watch the live recording on my phone through wifi. I can see the view from the camera on my phone, but when I hit record, the screen goes black.

Really? That's weird. I can see the live recording on my phone.

I have the silver edition and linked mine to my phone via the app as well. I can't view live video either when it's recording. I can when it's not recording though. I also have a problem with it "skipping" on play back. I haven't used it a whole lot yet and messed with it too much but the couple videos I have recorded seem to skip when I try to play them on my computer.

You need a class 10 sd card. I had the same problem, then I got a class 10 32GB sd card and that solved my problem.

That's weird you guys can't see the live recording on your phone???

I can see mine but it doesn't keep up, the screen goes black as the others have said but then it catches up if I stop moving. I have the white Hero3 and an Iphone4s. I have the class 10 cards also. Not sure what's going on.

Yep I check it all the time and just did t before my last outing where it did what I explained. It brings up the footage but after moving for awhile it goes black then catches back up if I stop moving.
