I'm sort of curious why aberjesus would be looking up ways to escape from zip ties.

it was a vid from the tactical gun site.

Besides its not for me its for anybody here who gets tossed in the trunk and needs to get away.

same here, I used 4 to hold plastic jugs of sand as weights on my pool stairs, after 2 weeks they all broke and were found on the bottom of the pool, stairs floating away...

All those zip ties posted in the original link look substantially less heavy duty than the ones we carried when we were working refuge camps in Kosovo. But even those ones we knew were not meant as long-term restraints.
