Default Digging a well

Not sure if this is the right section for this.

I'm looking at digging a well on some property I just got and wanted to get a feel for what I'm in for.

Property is in Crawford county by Higgins lake.

What I'm trying to figure out is: price, permitting, and if any one on here can recommend someone good.

Gordon Well Drilling in Croswell does good work. He may travel to Crawford County. It is approx 20 per foot to drill. Depends on the well drilled who has to pull the permit. Some drillers take care of all that.

I know it's a ways but he owns a cabin up there so he is familiar with the area. If he can't do it or is to expensive to travel he may be able to refer you to a good local guy.
