First Generation Body Questions

I just picked up my first 4x4. Its a 1991 Dodge W250 318 auto with 52,000 miles. Runs great but doesn't look so. Just about everything with the body is in dire distress. My question(s) are: Is there any difference in the bodies between 1/2, 3/4 & 1 ton trucks? How about 2x4 & 4x4? Will anything pre 81 work whether 2x4 or 4x4?

core supports are different depending on the grille
standard cab roofs are different than extended & 4 door cabs
floor pans and cabs are different depending on the year & options, nothing a little cut and welding can't fix.
doors, not sure about the mounting holes for power window motor. i'm working on a truck now that someone made new mounting holes for the manual crank windows. they moved them back about 1 1/2". don't know if it means anything but you never know.
fenders, hood, doors, bed sides, bumpers with brackets and rockers fit 81-93

core supports will work from 74-93. i had a 76 core on a 90 i had. all you need is the right grill. 74-93 doors will interchange as long as you get the fenders from the pre 81 trucks. im building a 81 crew cab now. has a 93 core support, fenders from a 90, front doors off the 93
