Is that tack weld going to be enough to hold it in place?

What did you break at rocks and valleys last weekend? I could hear you heading to Greg's campsite as I was loading up.

Trish was driving, snapped the front driver side arm and driveshaft came undone. Sleeved and welded at their shop that night...all better

I watched a 35 spline superior stub shaft break today on a lighter buggy with only 40s. and not really into it much.

glad my 10 factory stuff is holding together so far

its hard to tell from the pic, but can you still get the diff cover and gears out with that tube and ram mount on there? I am building something similar, but am having to put a removable section in the tube to be able to service the front axle

Spring swapping on the coilovers.

The front end has always bottomed out real easy, the springs in the coilovers were really compressed in order to achieve correct ride height and 7 inches of shock exposed. I bought them used and Kyle couldn't remember what the spring rates were...so at this point asked around and this is what I did. Got some new King 14" 300's for the bottom, used the springs that were on the bottom for the top. also 14", no idea rate. Tossed the old top springs (12" very soft, if anyone needs them lmk)

So now I have a little less than 4" of shock exposed and the ride height is great. Hopefully ridea and reacts nicer.

new bottom Kings on left, old 12" tops on right and no longer in the equation.
