I've got the 3" springs from one, not bad. The socks are worthless though.

My $.02: get the springs and find jk Rubicon shocks (red monotube). Prepare for death wobble, I'd vote trackbar right from the start.

It seems like you might know the drill already though?

I have their 6.5 lift on my XJ and it is a stiff ride. My CJ rides smoother then the XJ. I ran a Rubicon Express 3.5 lift on my other XJ and it was very comfortable ride. Not sure with my current XJ with the Rusty lift is give the rough ride or do to the tires I am running. Running 35" Toyo MT's. They don't have a lot of give to them.

The 3" I have is rather stiff too. Might be the spring rates.

I own a long arm kit that I haven't installed yet. Does that count?

If you don't have a vehicle to put it on, you might have a problem.

I personally use and install Rustys kits and love them.

If you would like a price quote let me know, I can usually save you a few bucks.

I've run a few different lift heights off of Rusty's stuff and have no complaints thus far.

thanks for the info guys. i just got my XJ so it might be a few months before i throw some serious cash at it, gotta work a few bugs out first. on a side note i have 2 bulging discs in my back which is why i asked about the ride quality.... maybe i should invest in a good set of suspension seats??

I have the 4.5" lift with the upgraded rustys shocks and the 3"leafs with 1.5 drop brackets. It seems to ride fairly nice for me. I get tons of flex. Performance, I love it. I alsop upgraded the to the rustys steering and trac bar.

Do more searches on the net about rusty's. quality and customer service.
Huge write up on jeepforum.
I use BDS springs with no complaints about a rough ride and great customer service.
I personally will never buy from rusty's.
